Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Sylus platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Sylus is an AI-powered GitHub engineering system. When triggered, it reads GitHub issue content, analyzes repository code, generates and tests implementations, and opens pull requests. The Service is provided on a pay-as-you-go credit basis.

3. Account and access

You must authenticate with a valid GitHub account to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your session credentials with others or attempt to circumvent authentication controls.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate, distribute, or deploy malicious code, malware, or any software intended to cause harm.
• Violate the intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Circumvent the security or access controls of any system.
• Process confidential data belonging to third parties without appropriate authorization.
• Abuse the credit or billing systems, including through chargebacks or fraudulent payment methods.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation.

5. Credits and billing

Credits are purchased in advance and consumed as the Service performs AI processing on your behalf. Credits are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with reasonable notice. Unused credits do not expire but may be forfeited upon account termination for violations of these terms.

6. AI-generated content

The code and content generated by Sylus is produced by AI systems and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated pull requests before merging them into your codebase. We do not warrant that AI-generated code is correct, complete, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. Use of AI-generated code in production is at your own risk.

7. Data and repository access

By installing the Sylus GitHub App and triggering tasks, you grant Sylus permission to read your repository content and create pull requests on your behalf. We access your repositories only as needed to perform the tasks you initiate. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

8. Service availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service unavailability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XAHICO Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses resulting from AI-generated code being merged into your codebase. Our total liability to you for direct damages shall not exceed the amount of credits you have purchased in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, your remaining credits are forfeited if termination is due to a violation of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which XAHICO Corporation is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
